Hi to everybody...heard the news this morning that the army won't allow Mubarak's paid thugs to fire on the protesters again today and, if they do, will stop them and will make sure Mubarak is ousted as soon as tomorrow! I did mention in my previous post that the Egyptians would have to watch out for agent provocateurs and they arrived en masse, but, at least, the whole world could see these thugs armed with bags of stones, pipes and knives ready to do as much harm as possible to the peaceful protesters under the orders of Mubarak...I am so hoping that this situation will be resolved very soon in favour of the peaceful protesters without further deaths...this is such a pivotal point in our history.

What worries me is that we shall see copy cat uprisings in other countries where suppression has been the norm - it might be a good thing that more dominant leaders lose power but surely better the devil you know?

oh, no, no dictator is better the devil you know with the majority of dictators in the twentieth century, most, incidentally, supported by the USA...they have kept their population living in fear and suppression and poverty. Would you be happy living under those conditions when your son or daughter, or you could be snatched off the street by government thugs usually dressed as police and taken away to be tortured, imprisoned or murdered? And the copy cat peaceful uprisings would be very good news...to bring democratic governments into the Middle East could very well bring an end to the undue influence of the extremists...a people acquiring freedom after decades under a dictator aren't going to vote in people who are able to suppress them again...

What is happening in Egypt is hugely significant to all of us. At this point, I would take it very much one day at a time....with the hope that what has been said today is true.xx

Particularly so with it being Egypt...still sending out appeals to the Universe to help bring about a peaceful end to this uprising...for one who is essentially an atheist with regards the deities on earth currently, I do still have faith that the Universe can assist us...hmmm...how strange is that...

Maybe it's time again for the human race to be wiped out and start again....or is that a bit radical maybe?....

oh, yes, it is...
There are more good people on this earth than bad, it's just that the good are reluctant to try to impose their opinions on anybody, which does put them at a great disadvantage...the current protesters in Egypt appear to be very good people so I'm so hoping that, having finally found their voice and the courage to protest, that they succeed...

Not just the human innocents were wacked and pounded by stones, but a Daily Mail photo showed a camel having it's legs stoned, and a horse nearby, on it's side on the concrete being beaten by one of the anti-Mubarak group.
Those poor animals did not want to be there in the first place.
I have spent some time as a girl working with horses, and their deepest fear is toward human beings, especially a crowd of them.
Nobody tells us next day what happened to those unfortunate creatures.
